Sound Diaries

Sound Diary 1:
I decided to go stand outside my apartment by the Village. Couple initial sounds I took into consideration was the noise from behind Wagoner hall. I'm assuming mos of it was electrical current noise from all the power generators behind the building. As I listened more, I heard the rustle of a nearby tree in the breeze. It was subtle, but introduced me to even more sounds, such as the chirping bird. The buzzing of the bugs also filled the scene, creating a nice summer setting. Altogether is was a peaceful nature feeling with a small hint of society coming from the generators.

Sound Diary 2:
I've never noticed how many sounds persist within my own apartment before sitting and fousing in my room. The air vent above my desk gives out a very muffled hum as it turns on. One of my wall scrolls lightly tapped the wall every few minutes from the air conditioning breeze. While focusing, the main fan in the apartment kicked in, giving off a low buzz for a while throughout the whole apartment. My roommate left his room to use the restroom, giving me the sound of the door creaking open, and later the running of water as he flushed the toilet. While not as peaceful as the sounds outside, it was interesting to compare the two.
